Lance had always been the underdog in anything he did. He never did well in school, never fit in with the others, and certainly was not the most athletic. He had a meager job out of community college and began training to fight. Lance thought by fighting he could at least stay in shape and maybe take out some frustration on someone else. Although he probably wasn't ready, Lance decided to sign up to fight at a local market square, hoping he could get his name out there. He stood in the ring preparing for someone about his size that he could hopefully teach a thing or two. As he warmed up, he saw his opponent - a six foot, at least 200 pound frame with the least bit of nerves, strutting proudly toward the ring. Lance pretended he wasn't bothered, but as the fight started his opponent could smell his fear. As Lance laid face up on the ring floor twenty seconds later, he thought maybe a little more training wouldn't hurt. That's when the bell rang.
